This privacy policy applies to Unwrite Voice on voice.unwrite.co. It does not cover the free tools on unwrite.co, which process content in your browser and have a separate privacy policy.
What we store
When you use Unwrite Voice we store, under your account:
- Writing samples you paste or upload to build your voice.
- Your Voice Profile and Style Card (the structured description of how you write, including learned always/never lists).
- Learning events (feedback, steers, edits, and related signals) used to improve your Style Card when you rebuild.
- Documents you create in the Studio (drafts and rewrites associated with your account).
- Account details we need to run the service: your email, how you signed in, which plan you're on, and how much of your allowance you've used.
We do not store passwords. Card details are never held by Unwrite; Stripe handles all card payment.
View, export, and delete
You can view your samples, Style Card, documents, and account details in the product at any time.
Export builds a JSON download in your browser from your account data. Sign-in details are not included in the file.
Account deletion is something you can do yourself. It permanently removes your account data (samples, Voice Profile, Style Card, learning notes, documents, sessions) and cancels any active Stripe subscription. Once finished, the data is gone and cannot be recovered.
What we log
The text of your writing is never logged. Our logs use status codes and counts only. They never include the contents of samples, Style Cards, prompts, model outputs, or email addresses.
Language models
To generate and rewrite text we send what the model needs (your Style Card, a few of your examples, and the task) to language-model providers under contractual no-training terms: your content is not used to train their models. Provider keys stay on our Voice servers only.
Payments
Subscriptions are billed through Stripe. Stripe handles card entry, storage, and payment processing. Unwrite only receives the plan details and customer id needed to apply your subscription. We never receive full card numbers.
Signing in
Unwrite Voice has no passwords. You sign in with Google or Microsoft, or with a short code emailed to an address you control. If you use Google or Microsoft, we only receive your name and email. We cannot read your inbox. Your session stays on this site.
